It was with Dewsbury County Borough Fire Brigade and before its final disposal it was part of the Home Office stock.

Its weight is approximately 8.5 tons and is powered by a five litre petrol engine with power to the roadwheels via a 4 speed synchromesh gearbox.

Water is delivered via a Sigmund FN4 900 gallons per minute main pump with an auxilliary Featherweight pump which   can deliver 300 gallons per minute.

Most versions of this vehicle carried both 35 foot and 15 foot ladders along with 1600 feet of hose.
